Great Specialist Hospital. Both Nurses and Vets were very approachable and friendly. I will definitely be recommending this to anyone who requires it. Thank you for an excellent experience! ((:

Best Vets Ever! We recently took Sonny our Jack Russell terrier to see Ken at the oncology department after another vet had diagnosed Sonny with a malignant tumour in his mouth. Ken took the time to go through several options with us and never rushed. We are animal lovers and could tell immediately Ken has a real love for animals and it's so wonderful to see this in a vet. Ken and his team investigated Sonny and found the other vet had misdiagnosed Sonny completely and after the best care at Perth Pet Specialists Sonny is now home with us completely healthy and running after the ball as normal. If you want the best care for your animals take them to this vet.

I was told over the phone that my dog would be seen to and could go ahead with an immediate xray if needed to rule out a foreign body. I was told to come in for a consult as a precaution. When i arrived it was not long until I was in a consult with the vet. She preceeded to inform me he would need an xray (which i already knew) then there was a knock at the door and she raced out with no explanation leaving my dog and I waiting for 15 mins in the room. She came back and said there was an emergency that just arrived and she could not give me a time frame for when the xray would be taken. I absolutely understand the need to cater for emergency situations first but if I had known my dog would be waiting all night for an xray I would not have come in on a Sunday night at 9:30pm, paying $170 to be told to wait for god knows how long. I also know how much money this vet would make and I am surprised they only had one vet on. What happens if there were two emergencies at once? It doesn't make sense. In the end, there was no apology, understanding of my annoyance or compensation. It was just - "That costs you $170 for the 'consult'", *dusts hands*, "NEXT!" - I truly hope the other dog is ok. But if you are seeking immediate advice and care for your dog after hours I would definitely opt to go elsewhere.

Great vets for emergencies, they found the obstruction in our dogs bowel using ultrasound that the other vets missed with an x-ray plus it turned out to be cheaper than the other vet. They looked after our boy really well and he's all good now
